Job summary

Astrya Global Medical Staffing is hiring a Cardiologist for a 60-week locum tenens assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. The role involves both inpatient and outpatient coverage, with 8a–4p hours and on-call duties as scheduled, plus potential for remote reads.

The candidate should maintain board certification in Cardiology, complete an approved fellowship (Cardiac Imaging preferred), hold a Wisconsin license and active DEA, and maintain BLS/ACLS certifications. EPIC is used for documentation.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Cardiology.
• Fellowship in General Cardiology (Cardiac Imaging preferred).
• Maintain current BLS/ACLS; Wisconsin license and active DEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide general/non-invasive cardiology coverage for inpatient service line and outpatient clinic as needed.
• Round with the APP team on inpatient service (1 physician, 3 APPs).
• Supervise and collaborate with APPs as part of the shared team caseload.
• Perform and interpret ECHOs and EKGs.
