Job summary

UP Health System-Marquette, located in Marquette, MI, seeks a Cardiac Hospitalist for 100% inpatient service. The schedule runs 8am to 8am, Monday through Sunday, with a dedicated team that includes three in-service providers and five APPs.

On-site presence may be waived during evening and weekend call, aligning with a collaborative, research-focused environment. The role supports common inpatient cardiac procedures such as echocardiography readings, stress test readings, and TEE interpretations

Qualifications

• Experience as a cardiac hospitalist or similar inpatient cardiology role is preferred.
• Ability to interpret echocardiography, stress tests, and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).
• Collaborative work with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, APPs, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% inpatient cardiac hospitalist coverage.
• Maintain a manageable schedule: 8am–8am, Monday through Sunday.
• Collaborate with 3 in-service providers and 5 APPs in a dedicated team.
• Perform common inpatient procedures including echocardiography readings, stress test readings, and TEE interpretations.
• Evening/weekend call may not require on-site presence.
