This full-time role offers a highly competitive compensation of $500K-$700K per year, flexible hours, and no on-call duties, with opportunities to mentor trainees and lead population health initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active or eligible board certification in Cardiology.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice in New York.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to grow and manage a thriving patient base.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality cardiac care as a key clinical provider.
• Perform comprehensive assessments including history taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
• Manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions using evidence-based practices.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans that promote long-term heart health.
• Provide education to patients regarding diagnoses, options, and prevention strategies.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff.
• Mentor clinical trainees including students, physician extenders, and interns.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines.
• Participate in population health initiatives and quality improvement projects.
