Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in high-quality cardiac care.
• Conduct history taking, physical exams, and interpret tests.
• Manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions with evidence-based care.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans for heart health.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, options, and prevention strategies.
• Document thoroughly in the EMR.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and care teams for seamless patient care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, techs, and staff.
• Mentor trainees including students and interns.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and payer guidelines.
• Participate in population health and quality improvement projects.
