Job summary

Northeast Medical Group, part of Yale New Haven Health, is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Cardiologist to join our growing cardiovascular team in New London, Connecticut. This is a unique opportunity to join a tertiary-level cardiovascular program with advanced diagnostic and procedural capabilities.

Based in New London, you will practice within Yale New Haven Health and collaborate with subspecialists across an academic health system, while enjoying a physician-led multi-specialty

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease required.
• Eligibility for Connecticut licensure required.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease required.

Responsibilities

• Examiness patients, takes medical histories, and treats acute and chronic illnesses.
• Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic tests.
• Collaborates with staff and other physicians to improve care delivery.
• Provides on-call coverage as part of the practice.
• Develops medical protocols and participates in quality improvement activities.
• Ensures timely, accurate and complete patient documentation and billing compliance.
