The Heart and Vascular Institute at Cleveland Clinic is seeking a full-time Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Cardiologist to support our expanding team. Patients from across the United States and the world seek our advanced diagnosis and innovative treatments at our Congenital Center.
Our ACHD center, accredited by the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA), includes a team of congenital cardiologists, interventionalists, surgeons, imagers, anesthesiologists, and pulmonologists working collaboratively to manage outpatient and inpatient care for patients with complex multisystem diseases. We also have specialized clinics for Cardio-Obstetrics and Congenital Pulmonary Hypertension.
This position will primarily focus on outpatient adult congenital clinics, serving as a regional referral center. Interest in ACHD heart failure, transplant, and clinical or basic science research is welcomed.
Responsibilities include managing adult surgical patients pre- and post-operatively, caring for ACHD patients with end-stage disease requiring heart failure and transplant, and participating as an active member of the Congenital Transplant team.
