Job summary

VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Cardiologist to join our 24-hour emergency/specialty hospital in Sacramento, CA. You will work with a team delivering world-class medicine with advanced technology and collaborative support for excellent patient care.

Salary is negotiable based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, CE allowances, and paid time off.

Our specialities include Internal Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, Neurology, Radiology, Medical and Radiation Oncology, Anesthesiology, and Emergency & Critical Care 27,000 square foot facility equipped with 64-slice CT with automatic injector, 1.5 T MRI, complete endoscopic, laparoscopic, and thoracoscopic instrumentation, multiple ultrasounds, C-Arm, and two radiology suites In addition to the complete in-house lab which includes Abaxis CBC, PT/PTT and chemistry machines, Heska EPOC, I-stat, and a colloid osmometer. An Antech lab is within a 10-minute driving distance. Access to a network of specialists within VCA Schedule Full and part-time availability

Qualifications

A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent Licensure in good standing to practice in (state), or the ability to obtain A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 to $300,000. This position is also eligible for production/commission and other variable pay programs.
