Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing is sourcing a Cardiology physician for Richlands, VA, to cover clinical and call duties in a locum tenens arrangement starting December 1, 2026, with ongoing needs. The role supports both outpatient and inpatient cardiology services using Athena/Meditech EMR.

Ideal candidates hold VA licensure, BLS/ACLS/ATLS/ABLS certifications and can manage ICU and non-invasive cardiology procedures, including echocardiography and electrophysiology work, with a 30-minute call response

Qualifications

• Licensed in VA and able to obtain temporary privileges for Richlands assignment.
• Cardiology specialist with experience in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Comfortable with on-call responsibilities including night and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient Cardiology care per facility protocols.
• Perform required procedures: echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology, STEMI care.
• Respond to calls within 30 minutes; cover 1:1 call ratio as scheduled.
