St. Joseph's Health is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join its highly regarded and well-established Cardiac Surgery program at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, NY.

This is a full-time employed position within a dynamic team that includes five cardiac surgeons and a hospital-employed Cardiologist team. The clinic and surgical offices are conveniently located on the hospital campus, supported by a dedicated team of Surgical PAs providing 24/7 coverage within modern, state-of-the-art facilities.

Our comprehensive cardiology services include Non-Invasive, Electrophysiology, Interventional, and Structural Heart specialties. The program is recognized as one of the top cardiac programs in New York State and nationally, based on independent healthcare quality research.

The team delivers excellent outcomes as measured by STS (Society of Thoracic Surgeons) criteria, drawing patients from a broad tri-state region. The program offers a full spectrum of cardiac surgical services, from minimally invasive procedures to complex surgeries involving advanced techniques. While transplants are not currently performed, surgical results exceed state and national benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Board certification in General Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery
• At least 10 years of experience
• Robotic Certification and Experience (a plus)
• NYS License or eligibility
