We are seeking an experienced BC Cardiothoracic surgeon to join our hospital-based practice, which includes two other CT surgeons and four CT PAs. The practice is based at Methodist Charlton Medical Center, with support from colleagues across Methodist Health System hospitals. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of post-fellowship experience, proficiency in minimally invasive techniques such as valve repair and replacement, and a desire to support the growth of our heart failure program.
Methodist Charlton Medical Center is a 314-bed, modern teaching and community hospital serving southwest Dallas County since 1975. The hospital has received numerous accolades, including being named a top performer on key quality measures, certification as a Chest Pain Center by The Joint Commission, and the Platinum Performance Achievement Award for heart attack care from the American College of Cardiology. The hospital offers comprehensive cardiology services, including open heart surgery, diagnostic and interventional procedures, a STEMI program, TR-PCI, and implantable defibrillators. Facilities include a state-of-the-art ICU, dedicated heart surgery operating room, EP lab, and a comprehensive Cardiac Rehabilitation program.
The incoming physician will be employed by Methodist Medical Group, a collective of primary care and specialty providers dedicated to community health.
