About the Position

HonorHealth, a nationally recognized non-profit health system, is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon with expertise in LVAD and mechanical circulatory support to join our growing Cardiovascular Surgical Program in the Greater Phoenix Area. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a highly respected, physician-led team and to contribute to the development of a new dedicated Heart Hospital opening in 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and manage cardiovascular surgical cases, with a focus on LVAD and advanced heart failure support
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, intensivists, and researchers
• Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents affiliated with Arizona State University School of Medicine

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in durable and temporary LVAD support, including patient selection, implantation, and management
• Comfort with advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and ICU collaboration
• Interest in minimally invasive and robotic surgical approaches is a plus
