Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant for Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery in Torrance, California, for a locum tenens assignment. The role includes in- and out-patient duties, first assist in surgery, and on-call coverage. Expect 13 weeks with on-call every other weekend and 7:30 am–4 pm shifts.

Compensation is hourly at $90–$110 with benefits, housing and transportation coverage, and 24/7 support from Weatherby consultants.

Qualifications

• Endoscopic artery harvesting and radial artery harvesting required.
• ECMO, IABP, and Impella experience needed.
• First assist in surgery responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery setting.
• First assist in surgery duties.
• On-call with 20–30 minute response time.
