CompHealth APP is seeking a Locum Tenens Physician Assistant in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for a 13-week assignment in Torrance, California.

The role includes inpatient and outpatient duties, first assist in surgery, post-op rounding, and taking calls in a 1:2 rotation. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4pm with 8 hours daily, seeing 5–8 patients per shift. We provide complimentary housing and travel, and we cover licensing and malpractice costs, with a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Specialty: Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Location: Torrance, CA; duration: 13 weeks.
• Experience with inpatient and outpatient settings; ability to act as first assistant in surgery.

Responsabilités

• First assist in surgery and post-op rounding.
• Interpret EKGs, X-rays, and labs.
• Manage 5–8 patients per shift in a 1:2 call rotation.
• Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

CompHealth APP is seeking a Physician Assistant Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for a locum tenens job in Torrance, California.

• Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4pm with guaranteed 8 hours daily
• 5 - 8 patients per shift
• Both inpatient and outpatient practice setting
• 1:2 call ratio split with one other PA
• Endoscopic and radial artery harvesting required
• ECMO, IABP, and Impella procedures
• First assist in surgery and post-op rounding
• EKG, X-ray, and lab interpretation skills needed
