Job summary

College Medical Center Long Beach is seeking a Per Diem Cardio Technician / Office Support to perform diagnostic testing as ordered by physicians and to support the Cardio department with clerical and scheduling tasks.

The role requires EKG certification, current BLS CPR, and preferred Spanish bilingual abilities; hospital experience is advantageous. This position offers flexible, per diem hours and opportunities to contribute to a patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• EKG certification upon hire.
• Current CPR BLS for healthcare provider’s card upon hire.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• One year hospital and/or medical experience preferred.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to perform clerical task skills and office coordinator medical terminology.
• Ability to provide care appropriate to the age served on the unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing as ordered by physicians according to established standards.
• Support Cardio department as a resource to physicians.
• Provide clerical and scheduling support and perform receptionist/secretary duties.
