Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support a multi-study cardiovascular research program. You will recruit and screen postpartum to midlife participants, obtain consent, coordinate visits and imaging, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes mentorship of students, data entry, and potential growth into data analysis and manuscript preparation. Hybrid in-person and remote work options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• No experience required; combination of education and relevant experience considered.
• Hybrid work arrangement with on-campus and remote work as determined by the department.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identify, screen, and enroll eligible participants across multiple concurrent research studies.
• Obtain informed consent in accordance with IRB-approved protocols and GCP.
• Coordinate participant study visits, including phlebotomy and specimen processing per protocol.
• Schedule and coordinate advanced cardiac imaging studies with imaging departments and participants.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for study participants, addressing questions and ensuring a positive experience.
• Prepare and submit IRB continuing review/renewal applications, amendments, and reportable events.
• Assist with IRB renewal, modification, and approved protocols; recruit research subjects and conduct interviews and assessments.
