Allegheny Health Network’s Cardiology team in Pittsburgh seeks a Full-Time Cardio-OB Cardiologist to serve high-risk pregnant and postpartum patients. The role involves collaboration with Maternal-Fetal Medicine, obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists to develop individualized care plans within an integrated delivery network.

The position emphasizes expanding the Cardio-Obstetrics program, research, and resident education, with opportunities for professional growth and leadership

Qualificações

• Exceptional communication skills are required.
• Fellowship training or demonstrated interest in Cardio-OB or Women’s cardiovascular health.

Responsabilidades

• Expand the Cardio-Obstetrics program and provide expert CV evaluation for high-risk pregnant/postpartum patients.
• Collaborate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine, obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists to craft individualized care plans.
• Develop protocols and pathways for identification, risk stratification, and management of cardiovascular disease in pregnancy.
• Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives related to cardiovascular care in pregnancy.
• Mentor residents and fellows as part of the education program.
