We are recruiting a Full‑Time, Cardio‑OB Cardiologist to join our team serving the Pittsburgh area. This is a unique opportunity to join a forward‑thinking program dedicated to providing comprehensive cardiovascular care for women throughout their reproductive journey, from preconception through pregnancy and postpartum.

Responsibilities

• Expand our dedicated Cardio‑Obstetrics program.
• Provide expert cardiovascular evaluation and management for high‑risk pregnant and postpartum patients with pre‑existing heart conditions or those who develop cardiovascular complications during pregnancy.
• Collaborate with Maternal‑Fetal Medicine specialists, obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists to develop individualized care plans.
• Contribute to the development of protocols and pathways for the identification, risk stratification, and management of cardiovascular disease in pregnant women.
• Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives focused on advancing the understanding and treatment of cardiovascular conditions in pregnancy.
• Participate in the education and mentorship of residents and fellows.

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication skills.
• Demonstrated interest or fellowship training in Cardio‑OB, Women’s Cardiovascular Health, or Advanced Heart Failure.
• American Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
• Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment.
