Job summary

Crescent Textile Solutions, a Crescent Textile unit of RTP Company, located in Two Rivers, WI, seeks an operator to tend the carding machine and ensure high-quality roving. You will set up, feed, monitor, and adjust equipment to meet customer specifications, while maintaining a safe, efficient production line.

The role requires reliable attendance, basic math, and reading/writing English, with prior manufacturing experience preferred. Shift: Mon-Thu, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM, on-site in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with basic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start and run the carding machine.
• Weigh materials and feed the carding machine with blended fiber.
• Monitor production and equipment for safe, efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues.
• Remove spools and ensure continuous roving production.
• Refer issues to Lead/Supervisor for disposition.
• Clean and maintain the carding machine and logs.
• Inspect material for conformance to standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
