Job summary

Crescent Textile Solutions in Two Rivers, WI, is hiring a Card Machine Service Technician to keep carding equipment clean and operating at peak performance. The role focuses on routine cleaning, fiber removal, and basic maintenance to ensure product quality.

You will work Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with duties including assisting with waste removal, machine upkeep, and supporting safety and efficiency across the carding line.

Qualifications

• HS degree or GED preferred.
• Past manufacturing experience preferred.

Card Machine Service Technician

is responsible for cleaning and maintaining carding machines.

Work Schedule

Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Clean carding machines of built up fiber using a vacuum to ensure the carding machine maintains optimal function and quality of fiber


• Perform additional waste removal from carding machines


• Basic cleaning and maintenance of carding machines and general work area


• Other duties as assigned

Education And Experience

Physical Requirements And Working Conditions

• Frequent bending/stooping, squatting, reaching above shoulder level, crouching and lifting (up to 60 lbs)


• Continual walking in a relatively confined area is required


• Frequent standing at floor level and above floor level on equipment


• Coordination of skills performed at heights no greater than three feet


• Exposure to extremes (90º F) in temperature


• Good vision is required, 20/20 or corrected to 20/20


• Frequent and continuous use of hands and arms


• Employees with sensitivities to dust may be exposed to airborne dust, silk and synthetic fibers and are encouraged to wear a mask to help filter out airborne fiber.
