Job summary

Suntree Internal Medicine, LLC is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to perform transthoracic echocardiograms and vascular studies, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images. You will operate imaging equipment, position patients, and document findings while upholding safety standards and patient comfort.

The role requires certified echocardiography and general ultrasound credentials, BLS, and strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy.

Qualifications

Certified in ECHO.
Certified in GENERAL ultrasound (Abdominal, Renal Arteries, Thyroid).
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Preferred credentials: RDCS or RCS (Cardiac) and RVT or RVS (Vascular).
Current BLS certification.
Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy and Doppler techniques.
Excellent patient care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform transthoracic echocardiograms, including 2D imaging, M-mode, and Doppler studies.
Perform vascular studies, including carotid duplex, venous duplex, arterial duplex, ABI testing, and abdominal aorta screening.
Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and measurements according to established protocols.
Prepare and position patients and explain procedures.
Document findings and maintain accurate patient records.
Maintain ultrasound equipment and follow safety and infection control standards.
