Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Cardiac Vascular Technologist to perform echocardiograms and assist with transesophageal echocardiograms for diagnosing cardiac conditions. Responsibilities include:

• Understanding hospital and Echo Lab policies, procedures, and standards.
• Knowledge of echocardiograph procedures and equipment safety.
• Transporting patients and equipment.
• Maintaining and stocking echo lab and equipment.
• Processing paperwork and reports.

Qualifications include:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
• Certification as an Echocardiographer Technician, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer.
• Preferred: One year of experience in a cardiovascular-related department.
