Job summary

BayCare is seeking a Cardiac-Vascular Sonographer for Surgery Vascular in St. Petersburg, FL. This full-time, in-person position supports a busy cardiovascular team and provides ultrasound services for cardiac and vascular studies.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in cardiac/vascular ultrasound, certification (RCS/RDCS with RVT or RVS), and a required ultrasound technical education. BayCare offers benefits and growth opportunities in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Requires BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Requires RCS or RDCS and RVT or RVS certification after 1 year of hire.
• 2 years of ultrasound experience in cardiac and vascular.
• Preferred: 5 years in ultrasound.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a member of the Cardiovascular Team.
• Engaged in the conduct and performance of Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound / Doppler diagnostic testing.
• Assist the physician and other healthcare professionals in these technical areas and is responsible for all aspects of clinical support.
• Functions independently with minimal supervision.

• Required Experience 2 years in Ultrasound specializing in Cardiac and Vascular.
• Preferred - 5 years - Ultrasound.
