BayCare Health System is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for a Medical Office in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on Cardiac and Vascular ultrasound and Doppler testing, supporting physicians and the cardiovascular team with accurate imaging.

Candidates should have 2+ years of ultrasound experience in cardiac and vascular specialties, with BLS and relevant certifications. This full-time in-person position offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities within BayCare.

Qualifications

• BLS required.
• RCS or RDCS and RVT or RVS certification after 1 year of hire.
• Technical School in Echocardiography or Ultrasound.
• 2 years ultrasound experience in cardiac and vascular.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the Cardiovascular Team.
• Perform Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound / Doppler diagnostic testing.
• Assist physicians and healthcare professionals in technical areas.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision.

The Cardiac-Vascular Sonographer Responsibilities And Skills

• Serves as a member of the Cardiovascular Team


• Engaged in the conduct and performance of Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound / Doppler diagnostic testing.


• Required to assist the physician and other related healthcare professionals in these technical areas and is responsible for all aspects of clinical support.


• Functions independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Required BLS (Basic Life Support)


• Required RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) OR RDCS (Reg Diagnostic Card Sonograph) AND RVT (Reg Vascular Tech Cert) OR RVS (CCI Registered Vascular Specialist) certification after 1 year of hire.


• Required Technical School - Echocardiography or Ultrasound.


• Required Experience 2 years in Ultrasound specializing in Cardiac and Vascular.


• Preferred


• 5 years - Ultrasound.
