Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital seeks a Charge Nurse to lead nursing care during shifts, coordinating a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. You will supervise nursing staff, reinforce policy adherence, and maintain the hospital's commitment to service excellence in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include directing patient care, educating staff on best practices, and ensuring compliance with Manatee Health policies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Florida RN licensure.
• Minimum of one year of acute care experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Current ACLS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assumes shift responsibility for planning and providing direct/indirect nursing care.
• Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Directs and educates other nursing personnel per unit policies.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
