Job summary

Cynet Health in Edmond, OK seeks an entry-level Radiology Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech for a 13-week assignment. Day shift hours 1pm–9pm, on-site position delivering high-quality cardiovascular imaging under supervision.

Responsibilities include patient prep, image acquisition, post-procedure review, data transfer, quality control, and collaboration with the care team. Must have ARDMS-defined education, BLS, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited educational program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty as defined by the ARDMS.
• Ability to apply principles of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, and medical terminology.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team members.
• Core knowledge and understanding of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with procedures ordered by physicians to be performed.
• Conduct post-procedure review with or without preceptor to confirm that all required elements are completed, documented, and that technical quality is consistent with established department protocols and/or applicable accreditation standards.
• Transfers images and data to the appropriate archival systems, enters technical data/findings, and prepares study for reporting by physician.
• Performs quality control checks, cleaning, high-level disinfecting, and other user maintenance per manufacturer instructions for use and other regulatory guidelines.
• Participates in continuing education, professional development, and research activities to maintain competencies and promote continuous improvements in care and treatments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
