Job summary

LCMC Health in Louisiana seeks a skilled sonographer to perform diagnostic echocardiograms across age groups, including fetal studies when required. You will prepare data and preliminary reports for cardiologists, and assist with advanced echocardiography including transesophageal and intracardiac studies.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification required for ultrasound specialties.
• BLS Health Care Provider certification required.
• Ongoing CME as per ARDMS/IAC to maintain credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiograms with data/results provided to the cardiologist.
• Prepares preliminary reports for reading physician as per schedule.
• Assists with transesophageal, epicardial and intracardiac echocardiographic studies.
