Job summary

AdventHealth in DeLand, FL is seeking a qualified technologist to perform diagnostic echocardiography and vascular ultrasound. You will operate ultrasound systems, obtain high-quality scans, and adapt procedures to each patient’s medical situation while maintaining accurate records and effective communication with physicians.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in cardiovascular sonography, RDCS/RVT/RCS/RVS certifications, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform a full range of diagnostic echocardiogram and/or vascular ultrasound procedures.
• Must be able to operate ultrasound systems and utilize measurement package for anatomy, function and status.
• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English.
• Licenses and certifications: RDCS/RVT/RCS/RVS and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex imaging studies.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly department and equipment.
• Enter testing conditions, observations, and demographic information into records.
• Communicates abnormal findings to reading physicians and coordinates scheduling, billing, and authorization activities.

[Required]Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
