Trinity Health's Michigan Heart Clinic is seeking a Part-time Triage RN to provide expert nursing support for cardiac patients. Day shift duties include triaging test results, educating patients, and collaborating with physicians and staff to deliver timely care.

The role requires Michigan RN licensure, BCLS and ACLS, and at least 3 years in cardiac nursing. The RN will document in the EHR, manage walk-in assessments, perform ECGs, and help patients obtain medication authorizations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• At least 3 years of cardiac nursing experience.
• Michigan RN license required.
• BCLS and ACLS certification required in regional locations if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Triage test results and provide patient education.
• Serve as liaison between patients, PCPs, and Michigan Heart physicians.
• Document medical information in the patient's EHR.
• Review lab and test results with the care team.
• Recognize abnormal rhythms and vital signs; intervene per protocols.
• Assess walk-in patients and determine visit needs.
• Perform ECGs and nurse visits as ordered.
• Assist patients with medication authorization and refills.
