Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Travel Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech for a hospital-based assignment in Middlebury, Vermont. The start date is 11/23/2026 with a 16-week contract, potentially extending to 26 weeks.

Expect 8-hour day shifts, five days per week, and a focus on cardiac imaging using EPIC EMR. Responsibilities include performing and interpreting cardiac studies (including basic Echo, TEE, Stress Echo), ensuring image quality, and documenting in EPIC EMR for interpretation by

Qualifications

• Cardiac imaging credentials required (RDCS/ARDMS).
• BLS and Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency) required.
• EPIC EMR experience within past 2 years is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret a range of ultrasound studies, with emphasis on cardiac imaging (basic Echo, TEE, Stress Echo).
• Optimize and acquire high-quality images; ensure patient safety and comfort; maintain equipment and quality control.
• Document findings in the EPIC EMR and prepare studies for interpretation by cardiology teams.
• Collaborate with cardiology, radiology, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely delivery of accurate results.
• Adhere to imaging protocols, safety standards, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage patient flow, scheduling, and equipment readiness in a hospital setting; adapt to variable caseloads and rotating responsibilities.
