Qualifications

• One year tissue processing experience required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills required.
• Excellent time management and task organization required.
• Ability to direct technicians and answer processing questions.
• Ability to meet processing requirements for tissue equivalents and yields.
• Ability to maintain high documentation quality rates.

Responsibilities

• Assign technicians to processing tasks to ensure tissues are processed properly.
• Dissect, process and document cardiovascular allografts.
• Inspect, identify, describe, and document allograft attributes.
• Evaluate allografts for acceptance per quality specs.
• Document allograft attributes and maintain records.
• Perform sterile and non-sterile duties for aseptic transfers.
• Produce complete documentation and labeling for functions.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and training records.
• Assist training of newer technicians.
• Perform technical review of processing records and graft records.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
