Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking a skilled Cardiac and Thoracic Surgeon to join the Heart and Vascular Institute in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on adult cardiac procedures (CABG, valve disease) and general thoracic surgery, with emphasis on collaboration, research, and mentoring.

Board-certified or -eligible candidates with PA medical license or ability to obtain one are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in cardiac surgery with hospital privileges.
• Must hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania medical license.
• Experience with complex cardiovascular and thoracic procedures encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide adult cardiac and general thoracic surgical care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary Heart and Vascular Institute teams.
• Participate in complex procedures including TAVR, aortic work, and TEVAR.
• Utilize robotic-assisted techniques when appropriate.
