Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking Cardiac Technicians for full-time, part-time, and PRN positions. The role blends direct patient care with specialized cardiac monitoring, including rhythm recognition and EKG performance, within a supportive interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Obtain and document vital signs and other patient information.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and communicate rhythm changes to the care team.
• Perform 12-lead EKGs and support telemetry monitoring activities.
• Assist with telemetry setup, troubleshooting, and discontinuation as appropriate.
• Support patients with activities of daily living, mobility, and comfort needs.
• Assist with patient transport, admissions, discharges, and diagnostic testing.
• Document patient care and cardiac monitoring activities accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to support individualized patient care plans.
