UAB Medicine, Alabama's premier health system, seeks a Telemetry Monitoring Technician to provide continuous cardiac monitoring and timely communication of patterns. You will oversee telemetric devices, ensure equipment readiness, and document rhythm changes to support patient care.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent (or 1 year of related experience) and obtain BLS within 30 days of hire. Licensure or certification may substitute education or experience as applicable.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of applicable job experience.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Perform telemetry monitoring on patients requiring continual cardiac monitoring.
• Oversee and communicate cardiac patterns on telemetric devices.
• Maintain telemetry monitoring equipment and supply inventory.
• Document irregular rhythms and monitor changes in heartbeat.
• Forward changes to nurse and/or attending physician for analysis.
