Job summary

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Must be able to pass EKG exam.
Minimum 1 year recent telemetry/cardiac monitoring experience (per diem).
Completion of Block 1 Nursing or Technician-Patient Care (PCT) or Medical Assistant (MA) or Nursing Assistant (NA) or Paramedic or current HonorHealth employee in good standing with 6 months of telemetry experience (preferred).
2 years related experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms at the central telemetry station.
Assists and serves as a resource to the healthcare team.
Provides customer service by addressing questions from patients and families.
Maintains unit regulatory education requirements and participates in quality activities.
Uses resources cost-effectively and suggests cost-saving measures.
Responds to crisis/emergency situations and seeks guidance as needed.
