Kindred Hospital The Palm Beaches and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) provide comprehensive telemetry monitoring to support extended recovery patients. This role focuses on observing cardiac rhythms, reviewing patient data, and ensuring 24/7 telemetry coverage for ordered patients.

The Telemetry Monitor position requires fluent English, accurate rhythm interpretation, and precise documentation. On-site work with hospital-based teams, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Satisfactory score on EKG interpretation competency test.
• Ability to accurately identify cardiac rhythms and understand their significance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry of patients by observing telemetry monitors for changes in cardiac rhythms.
• Remove and clean telemetry boxes when patient is discharged from telemetry.
• Maintain accurate records of telemetry patients.
• Immediately notify RN or supervisor of rhythm changes.
• Assign transmitters and wires and set up the monitor system for all telemetry ordered patients.
• Troubleshoot transmitters and wires and set up the monitor system for all telemetry ordered patients.
• Stay abreast of federal, state, and local regulations for food safety and sanitation.
