Job summary

Responsibilities include interacting with multiple hospital departments, supporting patient advocacy, and participating in staff activities. Requires nursing licensure, BLS, and preferred ACLS/CCRNs as noted.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Conscious Sedation Certification preferred.
• CCRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical or surgical conditions using the nursing process.
• Educate patients and families about disease, treatment, and plan of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital teams to coordinate care.
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
• Act as patient advocate and participate in staff meetings and unit activities.
