Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a registered nurse for Telemetry to join a 24-bed unit on a 13-week contract, night shift, 12-hour shifts. The role requires an active Virginia license or compact license and EPIC experience within the last year.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of nursing experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a cardiac telemetry background. The unit handles adult to geriatric cardiac patients; holidays/weekends may be required and floating is possible per unit policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• EPIC experience of 6+ months within the past 12 months.
• Active VA or Compact License required at the time of submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Cardiac telemetry background within the past year.
• Experience in a medical cardiac step-down unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult to geriatric patients with cardiac conditions.
• Monitor dysrhythmias and administer medications.
• Work holidays and weekends with six weekend shifts over six weeks; provide EPIC experience when required.
