Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a hospital setting. The RN will work with an interdisciplinary team, administer medications, perform assessments, and document care according to standards.

ADN is required; BSN is preferred, with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The role includes developing patient care plans, contributing to performance improvement, and mentoring newer staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years experience.
• Licensed RN in state of practice; CPR/BLS certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process with interdisciplinary teams.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per policies and law.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
• Documents according to standards of care.
