Job summary

Texas Health Fort Worth, part of Texas Health Resources, seeks an RN in Cardiac Telemetry 4 to join our Magnet facility on days. You will provide nursing care through the Nursing Process for telemetry patients and collaborate with a skilled team.

The role requires RN licensure, ACLS, CPI, and BCLS; BSN preferred; 36 hours weekly with 3-12 hour shifts, plus rotating weekends and holidays. Opportunities for growth and self-scheduling support a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.
• BCLS required prior to independent patient care.
• ACLS required within 90 days of hire; expiration date >3 months preferred.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of RN experience or completion of RN residency.
• Telemetry experience preferred or Med/Surg background.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient, plans care, intervenes, and evaluates effectiveness.
• Incorporates age-specific safety and infection control measures.
• Initiates information sharing with patients and families.
• Maintains continuity of care across shifts and during transfers.

Education

Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing

BSN preferred

RN licensure

BCLS within guidelines

ACLS within 90 days

CPI training within 90 days
