Texas Health Resources is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Cardiac Telemetry 3 at Texas Health Fort Worth. This full-time position supports 36 hours weekly across 3-12 hour shifts, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, at 1304 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104.

The role emphasizes high-quality patient care in a Magnet facility with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, offering growth opportunities, unit-based council, and self-scheduling.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.
• BCLS - prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
• ACLS - within 90 days of hire required - expiration date greater than 3 months preferred.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training - within 90 days of hire.
• 1-year experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
• Tele or Med/Surg experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
