Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Telemetry Med-Surg (2700) unit at Unity Hospital. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care on a 22-bed cardiac-focused unit with telemetry monitoring, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.

The role requires a Nursing Diploma/AS, NY RN license, BLS certification; BSN preferred and at least 6 months of experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse license in New York State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality, patient-centered clinical care.
• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient, utilizing appropriate data.
• Communicates and documents the assessment with the interdisciplinary team.
• Develops and documents plan of care, treatment, and services.
• Complies with organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Revises plan of care based on ongoing evaluations and updates documentation.
• Completes at least one CRU form for submission to Nursing Research Department.
• Completes a minimum of 5 nationally approved contact hours per year.
• Completes mandatory in-services and health screens in a timely manner.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Education
