Job summary

Vitruvian Health in Dalton, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care on a designated unit using the nursing process. The role includes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, with potential Shift Leader responsibilities for development toward Level II/III.

You will predominantly care for adult and geriatric populations, with pediatric/adolescent patients on assigned units, and contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered team environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
• Licensure: Georgia RN license with BLS CPR
• Experience: Level II 1+ years in area of specialty
• Skills: Nursing skills as defined by Georgia Nursing Practice Act
• ACLS: Successful ACLS certification within one year

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients on a unit using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Manages care of assigned patients and demonstrates professional growth
• Assumes Shift Leader responsibilities as requested or for advancement to Level II/III
• Works primarily with adult, geriatric, pediatric and adolescent patients
