CoxHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the fast-paced 4W Med-Surg Cardiac unit in Springfield, MO. You will deliver comprehensive patient care, monitor telemetry, and provide education to patients and families in a supportive, teamwork-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: RN license active in the state of Missouri
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of patients with medical conditions or surgical procedures on 4W Med-Surg Cardiac
• Assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and keep records
• Provide patients and families with education and support
• Maintain broad medical knowledge to care for a diverse patient population
• Collaborate with team to ensure telemetry monitoring and heart failure management
