Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking an RN for Cardiac Telemetry at Texas Health Southwest in Fort Worth. The role is full-time, 36 hours weekly, with 7a–7p shifts and 12-hour days, serving adult to geriatric patients in a 28-bed telemetry unit.

Requires nursing licensure in Texas, BCLS/ACLS, CPI, and 1 year RN experience, with telemetry/Med/Surg experience preferred. Excellent growth opportunities and a magnet facility with strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• RN licensure (Texas or compact) upon hire.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN preferred.
• BCLS and ACLS required or within stated timelines.
• CPI training required within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year RN experience or residency program completion required.
• Telemetry and/or Med/Surg experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care using the Nursing Process with patient assessment and planning.
• Intervenes when needed and evaluates intervention effectiveness.
• Maintains age-specific safety and infection control in patient care.
• Ensures continuity of care across shifts and transfers.
• Communicates information needs to patients and families.
