Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for Cardiac Telemetry at the Fort Worth facility. The role supports 24 hours weekly with 12-hour night shifts, delivering high-quality care in a Magnet, Level III Trauma Center setting.

The ideal candidate holds a nursing diploma/ADN, TX RN license, and BCLS/ACLS within set timelines, with telemetry/Med/Surg experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by TX Board of Nursing on hire.
• BCLS certification before independent patient care; renewed quarterly.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year RN experience or completion of an RN residency program.
• Telemetry and/or Med/Surg experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient and plans care.
• Intervenes as appropriate to meet patient needs.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age-specific safety and infection control in care.
• Initiates information to patients and families as needed.
• Maintains continuity of patient care across shifts and settings.
