Job summary
Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician - Cardiac Telemetry 7/Neuro Step Down for a full-time 36-hour week. Day shift runs 6:30 am to 7:00 pm with rotating holidays and weekends.
You will assist with patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, providing comfort, safety and well-being. CPR certification is required; experience or training in nursing assistance is needed; care companion course may be required within six months.
Qualifications
- CPR certification required by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum 6 months of patient care experience or completion of one nursing clinical rotation.
- Completion of care Companion Course within six months if required by the department.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient care tasks and procedures under RN supervision to ensure patient safety and comfort.
