Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Telemetry Monitoring Technician to provide continuous surveillance of cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry results. You will communicate findings to the healthcare team and support patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating the monitoring system, admitting and discharging patients in the telemetry workflow, and maintaining service standards to enhance the patient experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Telemetry Monitoring Technician program or 1 year related experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: (None)

Responsibilities

• Provides continuous surveillance and analysis of cardiac rhythms.
• Escalates significant changes to a Registered Nurse immediately.
• Operates and troubleshoots telemetry monitoring system.
• Admits, transfers, and discharges patient in telemetry system.
• Provides service that optimizes the patient experience according to standards.
• Completes MHHS dysrhythmia examination.
• Performs other duties within scope of responsibility and competency.
• Supports department goals and acts as mentor to less experienced staff.
• Models compassionate and personalized care for patients and colleagues.
