Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Monitor Technician to observe patient heart rhythms for individuals on cardiac monitoring and ensure alarm parameters align with physician directives. You will promptly notify the Registered Nurse of critical rhythm changes in accordance with telemetry protocols.

The role emphasizes teamwork, quality patient care, and participation in ongoing performance improvements within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of dysrhythmia recognition course within 30 days of hire.
• AHA BLS certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Observe heart rhythms of patients under cardiac monitoring.
• Maintain alarm parameters as per physician and telemetry protocol.
• Notify RN of any critical changes in patient rhythms.
