Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, AZ seeks a Monitor Tech to observe and analyze patients' cardiac rhythms, identify arrhythmias, and promptly report critical findings to nursing staff.

You will monitor EKG strips, document accurately, and coordinate with care teams to support patient safety, with emphasis on timeliness, accuracy, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school education or GED.
• Preferred: two years acute care experience.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.
• Experience with patient care module or personal computer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuity of care by processing patient records/orders accurately and promptly from admission to discharge.
• Complete required documentation in patient’s chart.
• Maintain continuity of care by processing patient’s orders promptly.
• Relays verbal/written information in a timely manner.
• Complete work orders or arrange bio med intervention when work required.
