Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic Dysrhythmia Course and practicum required.
• Clinical Unit Secretary course and Medical terminology course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical support to the department and monitor patients on cardiac monitors and telemetry units.
• Change batteries on telemetry units and post monitor strips in the medical record.
• Promptly report any cardiac rhythm problems to the unit leadership; maintain accuracy in documentation.
